Enhanced ECU Coding
MK908P II advanced diagnsotic tool comes with advanced ECU coding & online ECU coding capability (on the majority of Volkswagen) to make full use of the hidden features like auto park, tilting rear-view mirrors, unfolding mirrors, customizing daytime running light, disabling auto engine start-stop and etc depending on the electronic features already built-in.
Bi-Directional Control/Functional Tests/ Active Tests/ Actuation Tests- Unlike conventional scanners, MK908P II users can get access to the vehicle-specific subsystem and component parts, and output commands to the related ECU, thus driving the actuators to perform a specific function for determining the integrity of the system or parts by reading the engine ECU data, or by monitoring the operation of the actuators, such as switching a solenoid, relay, or switch, between two operating states.
Autel MaxiCOM MK908P II, as a professional scan tool and upgraded version of Autel MK908/MS908SP/MK908P, it can access wirelessly via VCI connection ALL available vehicle modules including but not limited to PCM, ECM, EPS, PDM, BCM, TPM, SCCM, RADIO and etc. With complete capability for codes, it can read and clear codes on all systems and subsystems and be able to show live PID data of multiple sensors in graph or text.

- Oil Reset: Reset the oil life system.
- EPB Reset: Help replace and reset the brake pad.
- TPMS (Indirect) Reset: Reset the tire pressure.
- BMS Reset: register the battery after replacement.
- ABS Bleeding: Help exhaust the air in the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
- Anti-theft Matching: Disable, delete, or match keys. *ONLY for vehicles with low-grade anti-theft systems.

I like how fast it is and that it came with the cables for BMW. I work in a professional shop and use it on all makes and models. It allows you to put some used modules in cars where oem software will not. There are some things it won’t do that oem software will do but it is much faster to use in most situations. It works just as good as some of the more expensive autels in the shop. It will not do in depth key and immobilizer stuff like the IM series but I find it does seem to have software that works better than the more expensive ones on BMW.
This tool will run most factory tests and resets ect. It’s easy to navigate. You can also use eobd to get generic data and emissions data/monitors.
Just a note, this is a professional tool and you will eventually need a yearly subscription for updates and online coding/programming features. That is the way of the world now. There are multiple updates available every week. The subscription does go on sale occasionally and it is a good idea to get it when on sale as it is quite expensive.
It’s better than snap on I feel. In the shop we have 4 different makes of scan tool and 8+ tools total. There’s easily 20 k in scan tools. Easily 8k a year to keep the tools all current. We use them all. They all have a use. I always grab my autel and usually it does what I need. We have 4 autels in the shop. Overall a great product for a great price.

This is a great scan tool. I was a Ford service tech for 23 years and was used to OEM scan tools. The Autel Mk908 Pro does almost everything the IDS can do. I highly recommend

Very easy to use. On screen instructions. I have used it for relearn of cam and crank sensors after motor replacement. Also did some ecu resets after replacing battery and alternator. Found a misfire due to bad coil pack. Told me which cylinder was mid fire. Has almost saved me enough money to pay for itself in just a few months. Still learning but it has a lot of opportunities

to Delphi to Launch to Autel, and the autel mk908p i is hands down the best and most versatile
scanner l've ever used. It supports a wider range of cars in my auto shop, allowing me to handle
various makes and models with ease. I've successfully put this scanner to do comprehensive system scan on a 2011 Audi A4 Allroad carry out SCN coding for a 2016 Mercedes Benz E220 CD and perform ECU programming on a 2007 BMW 335i.The scanner has already paid for itself with the value it brings to my business.

I’ve been using the mk908 pro ii for a few days now, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my business. I recently had a tough case with a 2012 Audi A6 that had multiple issues, and the customer had already spent a ton of cash trying to get it fixed with no luck.that’s when I decided to give the mk908 pro ii a try.it quickly diagnosed the misfires, malfunctioning fuel injector, and faulty throttle body, and provided me with detailed reports and graphs to pinpoint the exact issues. I reached out to customer support to ask about the difference between the mk 908 pro and the mk908 pro ii before purchasing, and they told me that the mk908 pro ii is the newer version with better hardware and wider coverage. I’m so glad I went for the pro ii with the same price! It’s definitely a worthy investment for any auto repair business looking to up their game.
